Nowitzki continues to break records

In the January 8th game where Dallas Mavericks have been defeated in San Antonio (112-90), Dirk Nowitzki became the second non-guard player (behind Clifford Robinson) in achieving at least 6,000 rebounds, 3,000 assists, 1,000 3-pointers, 1,000 blocks and 1,000 steals. The German power forward had a poor performance with just eight points, five rebounds, two assists, a steal (his thousandth one) and a block, with an awful 3-14 in field goals in 27 minutes of play. It's the second time that Nowitzki doesn't score in double digits this season.

However, the Wizard of Würzburg now can boast to be the all-time top scorer among internal active players (and second in the league behind Kobe), and facing the real chance to be Top 10 in points before the end of the Regular Season, as he's trailing less than 1,000 points of Oscar Robertson (25,776 against 26,710) with just under fifty games left.
