Tim Duncan, historic in double digits

Tim Duncan has surpassed Bill Russell in the sixth spot in the double-doubles all-time list. The Virgin Islander, with 17 points and 12 rebounds in the game where San Antonio lost at home 96-86 against Chicago Bulls on january 29th, reached 786 games with double digits in at least two statistical issues.

So far this season has 19 games in double figures (in 43 games played) and at this rate (14.8 pts and 7.7 reb average) it will be difficult to pass Karl Malone (next on the list) before the end of the regular season.

On the all-time list: 1) Wilt Chamberlain 968 - 2) Moses Malone 894 - 3) Elvin Hayes 890 - 4) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 895 - 5) Karl Malone 814 - 6) Tim Duncan 786 - 7) Bill Russell 785.
