Dirk Nowitzki, 26,000 points

Dirk Nowitzki doesn't stop breaking records. The Mavericks star hit a new milestone as the 13th player to reach 26,000 points in the NBA all-time list.

The power forward reached this figure in the narrow defeat last Wednesday, January 29th by 117-115 to the Houston Rockets. A bittersweet feeling, if possible, because it made one of the best individual performances so far this season, with 38 points, 17 rebounds and three assists, also 13 of 21 on field goals and 11 of 11 in free throws.

Although injuries forced him to cut a long-last series of thirteen seasons in a row with at least 20 points average, the German continues to prove that he has some magic, and so far in 2013-14 he scores 21 points per night with 48 percent shooting. It is expected that, at this rate, will pass John Havlicek (12th with 26,395) at the end of the current Regular Season.
