Kevin Garnett, 2000 blocks

Kevin Garnett became the 18th player in NBA history to pass the 2,000 blocks mark. The power forward, playing as a reserve role, is averaging less than ten points per game for the first time in his career, and he reached that mark in the victory of the Brooklyn Nets against Pliladelphia 76ers 108-102 in a much-like atypical game, with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks in just 20 minutes of play.

Garnett is just seven defensive rebounds away to become the second player to pass the 11,000 threshold (the distinction between offensive and defensive rebounds since 1973-74 season). Karl Malone is first on that list with 11,406.
