Odom shakes Europe

Odom's stint to Baskonia is only comparable in Europe with the signing of Dominique Wilkins for Panathinaikos in 1996 (with whom he won the Euroleague), the arrival for a few weeks of Tony Parker at ASVEL Villeurbanne, who was a shareholder of the club; Deron Williams at Besiktas, during the last 'lockout' in the winter of 2011 or the incorporation of George Gervin to TDK Manresa in the 1989/1990 season, the most important American figure who has participated ever in Spain's ACB.

The curriculum of 'Iceman' was simply fantastic - four-time NBA topscorer, twelve 'All Star' appearances (three in the ABA version) and MVP in the 1980 edition, five-time member of the All-NBA First Team. But with 38 years, and an aspect of a retired player, his arrival to Spain aroused many doubts and believed that their actual intention was to get a fistful of dollars in his pocket . However, he helped the Catalans to keep the category with more than 25 points per game. After his retirement, he became Hall of Famer and he was chosen as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA history.
