Pittman reached 10,000 in Argentina

Joshua Pittman became the 15th player to surpass 10,000 points in Argentina's LNB. The 37-year-old American forward, active since 1998 and in his 14th season in the league, have reached that mark on Wednesday, February 26, in the home win of his team, Sionista de Paraná, against Gimnasia Comodoro Indalo 85-78, where he had a good performance with 18 points. He finished the game with 10,008.

Pittman, 6'6" (1.98), is essentially a small forward, occasionally playing shooting guard, a consistent scorer, with some rebound ability despite being an external player, and with a very good three-point shot despite not being his specialty (1.2 per game with 39% accuracy). Despite having faced a nearly three-year suspension for doping, and after a brief stint in the Mexican league, he's back on track, more mature and more focused. He's the second all-time scorer among foreign players in league's history after Byron Wilson, who retired in 2008 with 11,146 points.
