Nowitzki still on record

In the Mavericks loss against Utah 108-85 last March 12, Dirk Nowitzki became the 12th all-time scorer in NBA history. In spite of this he had a great performance (31 pts, 8-9 doubles, 4-4 triples, 3-3 free throws and 8 rebounds) who allowed him totaling 26,426 points, above the mythical Celtic star John Havlicek (26,395).

But that night he got also other records. Precisely against Havlicek he snatched the second historical place among those who made ??their career with one franchise, and only Kobe Bryant remains ahead of him, away more than 5,000 points. At this pace (21 pts per game this season) possibly he will get into the Top 10, and has high chances to get it. He's barely 242 points from Dominique Wilkins (eleventh) and 284 from the tenth, Oscar Robertson.

In addition, Nowitzki, who is the top foreign scorer in history, will also very close to be the best one among those who were born outside the U.S., as he's only 520 points away from Hakeem Olajuwon (9th, 26.946), although it would be difficult to achieve this by the end of this Regular season.
