Chris Paul, that passing and stealing machine

Chris Paul became the 26th all-time in assist in the NBA, surpassing Scottie Pippen. Also, he's the fifth fastest to reach 1,500 steals.
In the November 2nd game where the Kings loss against the Clippers 98-92, Chris Paul surpassed Scottie Pippen for number 26th in the NBA all-time assists list. The explosive guard brought his career total to 6,140, five more than the legend from Chicago. Paul is moving quickly up the all-time leader board, having jumped three spots in the Clippers’ first three games this season. He passed John Havlicek (6,114) for No. 28 in the Clippers opening night victory against Oklahoma City on Oct. 30 and surpassed Clyde Drexler (6,125) for No. 27 in the Clippers win over the Lakers on Oct. 31.

Another astonishing accomplishment was held on November 5th, in the third quarter of the Clippers 121-104 loss to Golden State, when Paul recorded his 1,500th career steal. With his fourth and final steal of the night, Paul became the fifth fastest to reach the mark since the statistic was first recorded in 1973-74 and the fastest among active players. He is one of five active players and one of 40 all-time with 1,500 or more steals.
