At 38 years old, and suffering from chronic lower back pains, Joshua Pittman called it quits. 14 seasons in Argentina LNB over a 18-year career span. The other three years, some summers in Venezuela, a season in Italy, and a suspension of three years without playing for smoking marijuana, which he could cut up to one and a half years after passing through the Mexican league. The former Iona University was definitely one of the best foreign players who went through the best league in South America. Its main achievements in Argentina were being LNB top scorer in 2002/03, integrate the LNB First Team in 2006/07 and participate in the LNB All-Star Game in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2011 and 2013. With Atenas Cordoba he won the South American League (2004) and Interleague tournament with Obras Sanitarias (2011). His career numbers in Argentina leave him high on the story. With 10,108 points (18.2 average) he's the 14th leading scorer in the competition, second among foreigners (behind Byron Wilson, 11,146).
