Stephen Curry surpassed his father Dell in 3-pointers

With the third of his five triples against the Brooklyn Nets last Saturday, Stephen Curry surpassed his father, Dell Curry, in the historic list of triples in the NBA. The forward, who became champion with the Warriors last year and current holder of the record of most three point shots made in one season with 286, he is currently in 40th place in the list as it overtook Hedo Turkoglu, who recently announced his retirement.

The "baby-faced assassin" needed only 427 games to score 1248 3-pointers made in his career, and his average of 2.9 per game equals with Ray Allen as the best in NBA history. His father Dell, who was more selective in its attack resources, needed 1083 games to total 1245 three-point baskets.
